Live streaming is very time-sensitive, requiring an encoder capable of processing the Video feed in nearly real-time: You need a video encoder for streaming.
The main difference that sets hardware and software encoders apart —and the characteristic that allows video hardware encoders to perform more effectively— is that hardware encoding devices have the sole purpose of encoding.

MPE-4001:
The MPEG-2/H.264 SD/HD 4x Encoder is a Broadcasting Audio- and Videoencoder with powerful Functionality. equipped with various inputs: HD-SDI, HDMI, YPbPr, CVBS (for TT) for highest Flexibility in operation. Several Audio- and Videocoding formats available to meet your demands. AC3 (2.0) can be encoded. The encoded A/V Program eill be multiplexed into a DVB-conform TS via 1 ASI- and 2 IP-Ports outputs: MPTS & SPTS Unicast and Multicast.

MPE-4400:
MPEG-2/H.264 SD/HD 4x Encoder is a broadcasting audio & video encoding device with powerful functionality. Equipped with 2 Modules 2x 2x HD-SDI or 2x 2x HDMI or mix of. Multiple audio and video encoding formats are available to meet your flexible and various requirements. AC3 (2.0) can be processed as well. The encoded program will finally output in a DVB conform TS through 2 parallel ASI and 1 IP port: MPTS & 4 SPTS.

The BLANKOM IGS x000 (Integrated SDI- Decoder)
is a designed broadcast grade companion unit for MPE-4400 Encoder (H= HDMI, S=SDI versions). After de-multiplexing and decoded, the content output can be re-passed to ASI, IP as Multiplex. Its outputs support professional HD/SD-SDI, 2x Stereo Audio embedded for professional needs. Easy operation by using the inbuilt comfortable Web-Interface.
Available with 2, 4 or 6 SDI ports.
